ASTON MARTIN’S NIGHTMARE CONTINUES

Industry veteran and F1 favourite icon, Martin Brundle did not hold back this week when speaking on the situation at Aston Martin. "It's a nightmare, whichever way you look at it, they've got neither speed nor reliability. And in the days of relentless Formula 1 championship calendars and cost caps, it's going to be very difficult to turn that around."

The Adrian Newey era at Aston Martin has not started the way anyone imagined at all. Honda are set to get catch-up upgrade opportunities, and the team are targeting Miami as their first chance to show improvement. Both Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll seem to have not much to offer as these are not fundamentally driver-related issues. What’s crazy is that the most hyped signing in recent F1 history, Adrian Newey to Aston Martin, is yet to produce a single result.
