Red Bull has promoted Ben Waterhouse to chief performance and design engineer, reporting directly to technical director Pierre Wache, while Andrea Landi joins as new head of performance from July 1. The team currently sit sixth in the constructors championship, their worst start to a season under the current points system. The reshuffle is an admission that something is structurally wrong. Whether new titles fix structural problems is a different question entirely.
