GIMME! GIMME! KIMI!

Still one to beam the most charming, boyish smile, Kimi Antonelli is no longer just Formula 1’s promising teenager. He is now a serious title threat.
At Silverstone, the Mercedes driver delivered another statement performance, winning the Sprint after overtaking Lewis Hamilton and extending his championship lead. For a driver in only his second full Formula 1 season, this is starting to look less like a breakout year and more like the birth of a new era.
The symbolism was impossible to miss. Antonelli did not just beat Hamilton. He beat his childhood hero, in Britain, at Silverstone, in a Mercedes seat once defined by the very man he was chasing down.
There is something poetic about it. Hamilton built a dynasty at Mercedes. Antonelli has stepped into the aftermath of that greatness and somehow made it feel alive again. The calmness, the speed, the refusal to be overwhelmed by the size of the moment; it all feels familiar.
But Kimi is not simply carrying Hamilton’s spirit. He is beginning to write his own version of it.
Formula 1 loves a succession story, and right now, Antonelli is giving the sport exactly that. Young, fearless, frighteningly composed and increasingly difficult to beat!
